I enjoy the challenge of Endodontics.  Every tooth is unique with differences in structure and configuration of the root canal system.  These variations demand a customized treatment plan for every tooth. Almost nothing was said by either the dental asst or the DDS during my procedure of 2 full hours in the chair. I knew it was taking longer than anticipated and would have welcomed some status reports, e.g., we are making progress, your roots are very small and so I need to go slowly with this, etc. The overall silence in the treatment room added to my anxiety. Some music please.

The root canal that was done was fine. However the explanation of the after care was lacking. I was not told that the filling was done to sit a little lower than my tooth, so after the pain meds wore off it felt like the filling had come out. I made an additional trip in, because it felt so off.

I didn't go to the dentist for 10 years after a really bad experience and I'm so grateful I found myself treated by Dr. Singh. He was kind and always willing to answer my questions in detail and explain what was happening which helped my anxiety. Also getting a personal call to check in the next day to see how I was doing after treatment is a great touch. I will definitely continue to come back to Dr. Singh for any future dental needs and would recommend him to anyone who would listen. His assistant is also an absolute joy to be around and they work very well together with good humor which helped keep me at ease in a situation that is not really a fun one.

I am 95 and very hard of hearing, and was not able to hear the dentist's explanations. (Had my daughter along.) He made very little effort to communicate with me - when I asked him to speak louder, he just repeated himself in the same quiet voice. Very frustrating. He also sat behind me where I couldn't see his face.

There was minimal explanation but even fewer words of encouragement. At one point he was pushing down on my tooth, and had the assistant holding my jaw and push up to try to counterbalance. My jaw was fatigued from being propped open. I am now four days out from my procedure and my jaw and neck still ache. I have had a few other root canals, from different Endodontists, and never have I had this amount of pain, either during or after the procedure.

Dr.Singh was polite, took time explaining all the information on the procedure (Root canal) , prepared me well for the root canal. I had to come 2nd time due to the anesthesia was not effective on the first time but procedure went well without much pain/stress. Dr.Singh called me couple days later to follow up. I got a great care overall! Kudos to the entire team.
