Dr. Gerlach and his staff were great. They helped my daughter feel less anxious about having her wisdom teeth out, they were informative and called to check on her later in the day. We would definitely recommend Dr. Gerlach and his team. Both of our two children have had a wonderful experience with TDS.

(Dental Assistant) and Dr. Gerlach were both very kind, patient, efficient, and obviously knowledgeable. While the "shots" are usually the worst part of dental procedures, Dr. Gerlach's technique was the easiest, least uncomfortable that I've ever had!

Everyone was kind of indifferent, even though I'd explained multiple times I have a lot of anxiety. It felt very rushed and nobody was particularly friendly. And they didn't listen to me during the procedure at all and just told me I was doing well. Nobody offered any type of support or suggestions. It was terrifying. They ignored my cultural concerns and it felt like everyone thought my feelings were unimportant. After the procedure I expressed that it was awful and nobody even said anything. Not even a "yeah, that can be difficult sometimes." Just silence. It was super weird and made it more intimidating.

I think the doctor listened to me and didn't force me into any decision. He explained how his job was to explain what could happen if I donor do not take my wisdoms teeth out. He let me know that this is a conversation and to take my time to think about what I want to do. He answered my questions and I didn't feel scared or pressured into making a decision right now.

I was very uninformed and disappointed with the lack of information that I received regarding care and instructions after my procedure. There was very minimal instructions and direction for what to do, ways to manage bleeding, diet/food plan to follow, how long to step away from regular exercise, when or how to brush teeth/clean mouth, how long discomfort/tenderness will last, when will stitches come out (or will they fall out), etc,etc.

Dr. Gerlach provided great care, listened effectively to my daughter, explained things well, and from my daughter's report- did a great job of explaining what he was doing during the procedure (wisdom teeth extraction), and had a great calm demeanor. The dentist and his assistant made my experience pain free and they explained everything that was to be done, the followup procedures that I needed to do, and the assistant even called me at home a couple of times to see how I was doing. I hadn't had an extraction since my days in the Navy (1968) and that was a frightening experience so I really was expecting something similar, thus I was a bit nervous, but the dentist and his assistant put my mind at ease and we were done with the whole procedure in less than 1/2 hour. Really good service all the way around. And....I was surprised at how little I had to pay out-of-pocket. A good day.

After an arduous procedure, my concentration on post op protocols was not as focused as I would have liked. But I appreciated that they called me at home later to follow up on how I was doing, and subsequently saw me in the office to make certain I was okay

I was very impressed with Doctor Gerlach. He explained everything that he was doing and the whole procedure was over and done before I knew it. He was excellent. His assistant was also excellent. She was so pleasant and answered all my questions. She explained everything I needed to know after the procedure. I felt very comfortable and confident in both the doctor and the assistant

Dr. Gerlach removed a wisdom tooth a few years ago, and he was so professional and expert I wanted only him to remove the molar last Friday.

Although the others in the practice (receptionists, dental assistant) seemed very willing to take time and answer questions, I had the definite impression the oral surgeon was trying to get in and get out as quickly as possible. I put that I have a good confidence in the doctor based on my personal dentist's recommendation.

I came for a wisdom tooth extraction that did not take place because the doctor was honest in telling me that I did not need it and he suggested going back to my doctor to take a look at another tooth that might be the problem. I am very happy with the doctor's honesty.

Novocaine did not seem to reach its full effect and additional had to be administered during the procedure [tooth extraction]. After the third attempt, I just said to continue as I had just gone through 3 days waiting to be seen and I was ready to have no more pain. Not sure what would have made this experience better.

I've always had a good experience with this office, with various dentists. I had TWO extractions done, the doctor was VERY gentle and there was no pain and very little discomfort. I have already had conversations with friends relating how pleased I was.
