Dr. Zhang was very caring and seemed concerned that she do exactly what was the best treatment for me, which turned out to be draining an abscess. Dr. Zhang asked many times if I was ok or uncomfortable in any way.

Dr. Zhang's speed and English problems made the discussion difficult. I am sure she knows what she is talking about but it is sometimes difficult to understand due to the previously noted problems

My hygienest was excellent in the time and care that she took on my teeth. I only got to speak with Dr. Zhang between two of her patients, so I wasn't able to get the complete exam that I needed from her to proceed with my tooth implant.

I appreciated the thoroughness of Dr Zhang's dental exam, her professionalism, and clear explanations. She is one of the best dentists (only periodontist) I have seen in quite some time. She took a good amount of time to explain the treatment options, and why some were or were not applicable. I also really appreciated this because I came specifically to hear her expert opinion. She was professional, and spoke at good level for a non-medical patient.

Dr. Zhang is wonderful. She seems to truly care for her patients and takes great pride in our treatment and comfort level. Some of this stuff is just going to hurt.

The doctor is good. Seemed a bit angry, scolding me the first couple times I saw her (I've been coming to your clinic for 5 years). She would talk so fast like she was hurrying to another appointment. The last time she saw me, she was very much changed, took more time, seemed to be on my side and quite kind.

It felt like the doctor was rushed. I would have preferred a sit down across a table to discuss more at length options for treatments, prognoses of those options, etc. I didn't feel like I had adequate time to ask all my questions. I hope to be able to have more questions answered when I am there next time

Going to the dentist/periodontist office is very stressful for me. I knew there was a problem area and the hygienist did a good job of remaining calm and indicating that he saw the area that was bothering me. When the dentist came in to take a look, the question after looking at my mouth was "What did you do!?" I heard it with an accusatory tone. I also found it unsettling that this interaction happened while I was tipping back/down in the chair so I was looking at her, more or less, upside down. I don't recall being given options for treatment.
