All-Star Goalie Pursues Invisalign Treatment

Dayne St. Clair, Minnesota United goaltender and MLS All-Star, is in the midst of a remarkable year. Fans just voted him onto another MLS All-Star team, the Minnesota United are contending for the best record in the Western Conference at midseason and he’s competing internationally with Team Canada as they attempt to qualifying for next year’s World Cup.

To make the year even better, Dayne decided to make some improvements to his smile and chose Invisalign treatment under the care of Dr. Shawn McCarthy at The Dental Specialists Orthodontics in Blaine. He felt his teeth were slightly crowded and could be a bit straighter. His sister had Invisalign treatment, so he was familiar with the process. The low-profile nature of the clear, nearly invisible aligners particularly appealed to him.

When Dayne began his search for an Invisalign provider, he reached out to Dr. McCarthy at The Dental Specialists Orthodontics. Dr. McCarthy’s practice was just minutes from the Minnesota United training facility in Blaine. Once they met to discuss the treatment, Dayne quickly felt at ease.

“At the consultation, Dr. McCarthy made me feel really comfortable,” said Dayne. “I felt like it was a two-way street. I posed some questions to him, and he did a great job of answering them.”

Dayne also wanted to start the process as quickly as possible. So, he was pleasantly surprised with how quickly his new Invisalign aligners arrived. Once he began using them, he was pleased that there was no soreness often associated with traditional orthodontic treatment.
