of the Dental Specialists is our strong commitment to education and professional development – both to students and already practicing dentists.  Dr. Kirk Baumgardner, one of our endondontists, and Dr. Robert Beaumont, one of our periodontists are on staff at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, and  Dr. Alan Law, another of our endodontists has taught a number of Continuing Education courses there.  All of our doctors regularly participate, and several others have lectured, at Continuing Education programs locally, nationally and internationally and have taught continuing education to general dentists in the community.  This commitment to teaching and learning helps ensure our position at the forefront of new technologies and clinical advancements in all of dentistry.

Alan Law, DDS, PhD and Diplomate, American Board of Endodontics, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Board of Endodontics.  The American Board of Endodontics is the only certifying board for the specialty of endodontics and is one of the nine specialty boards recognized by the American Dental Association.  The purpose of the ABE is to assure the public that the endodontists it certifies have demonstrated exceptional knowledge, skill and expertise in the specialty of endodontics and to progressively raise the quality of patient care.
